The whole resolution independance thing terrifies me. I just know we'll see some vendor or Apple have these annoying huge UI's that we can't shrink back down to their proper size. I mean the reason we buy this huge monitors is to shrink the UI and maximize free space right???
Maybe. But this will allow for things like 1920 x 1200 displays in the 17" MacBook. Not many people would want to run OS X on a screen that size now because everything would be tiny. But let me crank up the GUI scaling and have a higher physical resolution for the UI, so I can read everything but it's all sharper and clearer? **** yeah. Hell, put 1920 x 1200 on a 15.4" panel. 150dpi for the win. Crank up the size and the OS X GUI will look even more wonderful than it does now.

But I have another account with credit, I just use this account to download free apps because it is MY account and i've been downloading apps since a long time ago, I don't want to have money on it or a credit card.
I've sent an email to iTunes support, lets hope somebody does something about it, although I doubt it.

I am interested in purchasing the iWork suite, in particular for Pages, however I have a query and would be very grateful if anybody could provide assistance. I know Pages supports the import and export of Word documents but am curious as to how well implemented this function is? Exporting accurate, error free word documents which may be viewed in perfect working order by users of Office for Mac and Windows would be a necessity and I'd like to know how well Pages does this job?
Thank you for your time.
My exports appear fine, but I have not tried exporting anything containing heavy formatting, images, etc, just standard multi-page essays with minimal frills.

What router do you have? Some routers have built in VPN server support. If not, you can try EasyVPN for windows. I found a link here:
http://www.comodo.com/home/email-security/vpn-access.php
To find the Time warner search domain name go to your router's setup page. It should have a summary page and tell you your public IP address and also the search domain. If you can't find it, PM me, I'll help you out.
I have a dlink 655 which doesn't support ddwrt or have a default vpn.
i know my public ip and the search domain seems to be socal.rr.com
I downloaded easyvpn and set it up but am having problems on where to input all this information, its sure not as easy as the mac version.
Also I'm not sure how to PM you or I would, I just made this account and am brand new to these forums, pm me and I'll gladly reply!

You mean my spouse's Rodgers drums were double kick? I better let them know. ;)
baha nah not like that, not the actual act of having two bass drums.. just the action of using two kick pedals in a song - i.e. double kick. thats what australian drummers refer to it as, i guess its different in the US/etc.

I was just curious how long the carriers store the contents of text messages in the U.S. Do they permanently store information like phone number texted, date, and time? Is there any evidence that they in fact do store the content of text messages sent for more than seventy-two hours or so?

I too will be very disappointed if the scroll wheel disappears from the iPod.
I am also quite skeptical about this 'bezel-touch' idea. That's where I hold the damn thing. I can't pick up my phone without changing the ring tone level now my iPod will scroll to a new track or shoot up in volume.
No thanks.
Errm. Cant you lock your keys on your moby then. Surely there would be a hold button like current iPods that will disable the bezel.

As far as Nintendo porting, that would be a horrible decision for them. They might as well sell themselves to Sega. Nintendo's situation is worsened by the 3DS kind of missing the point and they don't need to make it even worse by losing their exclusives. (Personally, the 3DS completely lost me. I bought the original DS and DS lite but I see no reason to get a 3DS because they just tacked optional 3D on). Sony's NGP might interest me if they ever get their store/update junk sorted out. They seem to have ADHD.
I have to agree here.
Until they find games that the 3D is actually part of game play (it is essential to the actual game and not just add on prettyness), it's just a nice extra but it's a gimmick and not enough to actually sell it over other devices. ANd I really don't see how 3d, at least how it is implemented in the Nintendo, can really be implemented to be part of game play and not just something to pretty up the screen. Sure, it adds to the experience, but it's not essential to the experience. You could play a similar game on another game player easily enough, just not as "pretty".
Any console/hand held in the end, if it is going to sell itself for playing games, has to get the games that make people want it to play them.

Aquaria looks like it would be very similar to SketchFigher... except be underwater...
I'm curious to see what this "intuitive mouse control system" happens to be. I typically hate using mice.

Cablevision has a login for the iPad app to log into their network and watch LiveTV. But it looks for you to be on your home network for it to work. The VPN software requires a name and password to connect to the VPN server. That is the name and password I created in the instructions above.
I get 6Megs upload from home. Why is your so slow? That doesn't sound right. You have TW internet?
I checked with TW and that is the upload speed. If I had an alternative then I would switch.

As long as your mac and ipad are on the same network and homesharing is enabled, then yes you will get access to everything on your itunes library on the mac without needing to copy (sync) it to your ipad.

Even if iMovie did show the separate audio tracks there is no way to know if the source audio contains isolated tracks of each person.
