Is there a benefit to having fonts activated and deactivated on the fly?
yeah, so you don't have to put the fonts you want to use in user/library/fonts by hand, like citizenzen and you recommended.
but i agree, what citizenzen added, that there's more important stuff to take care of than solely choosing the typeface. but for organisazion, overview and samples the fontexplorer comes in handy.
at least it does for my work.

I don't like Graphite because it's not grey, it's slightly purple grey, which I think doesn't look good for some reason. I would love a black glossy theme, or that you can choose any color from a color picker (for the buttons and scroll bars).

If you aren't buying it now, then your only option is to wait. When you have the money, then take a new look at the buyer's guide to see if there are any new news about the ACD.

If the photos are on the SSD drive, then yes they will launch faster than if on the HDD. Now that said, if they are just average say 2MB JPG photos the difference will not be huge. If it is a very hi-res photo say 10MB JPG the difference will be more noticeable.

Publicity really boosts these auctions. They're easy to miss if you're not paying attention the week the auction is on.

The PC version is only $29 so the Mac version will be the same. The console version is $39 but it's still an ok price. This game is wonderful. I downloaded the demo and played it on my PC and it played like a dream.
After you complete a level you have a 'free-play' mode where you can change into different characters and walk around. It's fun being an enemy droid and sneaking past the bad guys without them knowing.
If you haven't seen screenshots or the trailer for the game I say you should look at them before you judge the game itself. At first I didn't know what to think, but after looking at the screenshots and videos I downloaded the demo right away! Heck I even submitted this story and reserved a copy of the game myself! :)

The Safarish theme suggested is still very buggy (e.g., the find bar is huge), so it looks like I'll be ditching Firefox and just picking up a RSS reader. By "TBE doesn't work properly" I mean that half of the options don't show up in preferences.

I just got the iPhone 4 for Verizon and I usually would let my phone die all the way and then charge it for 12 hours to get it completely charged. Is it the same for the iPhone 4 or does it not matter? If it does matter is it longer than 12 hours? Also, can leaving your phone plugged in when it is fully charged hurt it? Thanks!

I am trying verify if data recovery is possible on a customers Macbook Air a1304 hard drive. Since Apple decided to use that 1.8" drive I am trying to find an adapter that will work in a desktop SATA or IDE that isn't some ridiculous price. The Air had water spilled on it so it will not turn on nor do I have another air to test it in.
From what I can find the Air uses a 1.8" ZIF drive. Would this ZIF CE 1.8 Microdrive to 3.5 40pin adapte (http://www.amazon.com/ZIF-1-8-Micro-Drive-Adapter/dp/B004AXDA82)r work. Perhaps this Toshiba 1.8 ZIF to 2.5 IDE (http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-1-8-Zif-2-5-Connector/dp/B0018S9RQG) (I have an external enclosure that works with the 2.5 IDE). I also found this external USB enclosure (http://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-Enclosure-1-8-inch-Toshiba-Connector/dp/B0037FR27E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1302904126&sr=8-2). It would have been nice to put OS X on my fairly new 1.3 AMD, or even the 1.6 P4 at work (if nothing else than to save the TORTURE that was my Win98/2000 install from HELL, freakin' M$. Now I can Crash twice as fast!). But we know that won't be happening anytime soon.
Can't wait to get a new Mac to replace my old one (that I no longer have BTW) after I move. Maybe a nice Cool (pun intended) iBook (c'mon 1 GHz G3 + 32 MB vid card), or an eMac to play with untill I can afford a new Tower. Who knows what we'll have by then?

Also IIRC Cisco's iOS lets you save and load config files directly. I do not remember the exact syntax but try built-in help...
