So my iphone 4 is in the mail and I'm now dealing with the challenge of transferring my info over. Is there an easier way to transfer my contacts? I know google stores all contacts in the cloud but that would take a while hand typing them over.

Any tips from previous Android users that switched?

(I own several iOs devices so im aware of the general workings)

I used to have a Palm m500, my brother has a Zire 71, my dad has a Tungsten E, and none of us feel they were worth buying. Honestly, I'd just use a cell phone for mobile use. My Nokia N-Gage QD was free with a new plan in February, and it syncs with iCal and Address Book perfectly over Bluetooth using iSync. No drivers are needed, either: OS X automatically sends an iSync agent to the phone, it gets installed, and everything works perfectly. If I needed, I could install any number of Symbian OS applications on my phone and it would do just about everything a Palm could. Inputing new data on the go would be more painstaking, though.

G'day Guys,

Thanks for the suggestions. After trying a few things, I was still getting horrible speeds. After reordering the networks as stordoff recommended, transfers fly! I am getting much faster speed now, both bursts and sustained transfers. I am about to try compressor and see if Qmaster jobs choose the right network, but as far as Finder goes, I am at full speed. Wonderful!

Actually, I've read the same about "DVD Jon". Apparently he stole most of the code for DeCSS anyway, and the part he wrote was pretty pitiful. I've read some of his forum posts and he certainly doesn't sound like an intelligent guy. He might have had somebody else do the reverse engineering and just put his name on it so that the media would run a story along the lines of "Guy who cracked DVD encryption crack's iTunes encryption also!"

To followup on my own post, that was very close to the headline which CNN QuickNews sent me only a few hours later. I doubt DVD Jon had much to do with this at all. It's just branding.

Use redsn0w to jailbreak it. When you run redsn0w, it has the option for you to install the ipad baseband. You can click on it and it will jailbreak and install ipad baseband onto your phone at the same time.

Just to make sure you have Ipad 1 3.2.2 firmware on your computer so redsn0w can do its job.

I sold my iPhone 3GS in October and got a blackberry, but now I want to go back to the iPhone.
I'm not sure if I should keep my blackberry until a major iPhone upgrade, buy an iPhone 4 now, wait until June to see if a new iPhone is coming out around then, or wait until September if that's when the iPhone is coming out and see what's new.

Hi,

i hope i can explain this correctly.. I am making a page that creates a 3d pie chart for the different types of calls my work has. I have a MySQL database that has jobs and referrers.. Anyway thats not imporant.. what I need to pass to the pie chart is the top 10 best referrals. The two bits of data for each record i have are...

$referrer[] (pulled from a Jobs table in my database)
$referrercount[] (a count of all jobs for that referrer query)..

I know php has a sort feature but i need the 2 variables to stay in sync. I know i need to use a 2 dimensional array but I really am struggling to understand them. can someone give me a code example using the following data...

$referrer[0] = "Company A"
$referrercount [0] = 300

$referrer[1] = "Company B"
$referrercount [1] = 500

$referrer[2] = "Company C"
$referrercount [2] = 100




I hope this makes sense..?
