I wanted to embed a youtube video in my post, but I can't as HTML code is off. I was googling on how to embed a youtube video using BB code, but it seems as if it needs to be done on the admin's end. I'm just curious if they're going to see that I started it well after when they ended it. I don't know how much information the reps have in-store or what all they do when they upgrade, so I was hoping someone who had done it once already could tell me if they had any trouble.

I perused it a bit, and the screen shots did throw me in for a bit of a loop. I wasn't sure what to look out for. Perhaps Spotlight-like dimming only the relevant information and the removal of extraneous items like signatures, could help make it easier for someone to digest.
The screen shots could be saved as .GIFs instead of JPEGs for more space savings. What's the Wiki etiquette on other users updating an original Guider's screenshots?

Thanks for the heads up! I think I'm actually going to Target first . . .I've heard that some targets have started handing out vouchers already. Based on the database-driven backend, and reading through the online manual, I doubt there is a limit on the number of levels he can define.

I would like to listen to your thought about the direction apple is taking. As you know the Keynote was only about iPhone.
This has to be the least hyped(and cared about) keynote since steve jobs returned to Apple. I didnt even know when it was going to be until I read on a videogame website that there was this 3d game for the new iphone.
The keynote when it had breakthrough inventions, and great "one more things", where original imac and imac flat panel was introduced, os x, and many great things...now we only hear about one of apple's gadgets and it is the iphone.
I do realize the apple is smart to increase its money and move into the future by not eating more of the PC market where it is hard and competitive but to go into new markets like they did with ipod and itunes. But I believe Apple is starting to neglect the computer market.
A whole keynote about iphone? its supposed to be for mac computers and a section for iphone. This clearly showed in leopard where a lot of people complained about it and it wasnt breakthrough like its previous brothers.
Apple computers and software is not bad, its just being neglected. I am afraid that Apple is no longer creating great computers that beat out other pc's. They are halting that, and concentrating on entertainment(movies & music) and other gadgets...iphone,ipod, apple tv, airport...etc.
I recall a day where people swear by their macs, people are happy and proud to run their mac computer. Now its just, i will get mac because its the next cool thing...but that iphone, thats GREAT!
Does apple not care about their core business, computing? its clear since they changed Apple computers to Appl INC.
The way I see it, apple is slowly neglecting the computer market, and moving toward entertainment and gadgets. I am afraid the day will come where we will see OS X on non apple hardware. Things arent like they used to be, and I do not see apple pushing more toward people switching to macs, but more on spreading iphone and ipod.

Hey I'm looking into buying a preferably new Macbook or Macbook Pro. I need one soon as I'm moving out for my freshman year of college. The things I'm mainly concerned about is 500+GB, 4GB RAM, and 2.4+Ghz. I was wondering what might be some good places to begin looking for the right laptop.

I'd buy a DSi if I was buying for 1 game. We have them for sale for around €100 brand new now. Considering 3DS is retailing at €260 here that's one hell of a difference.
DSi = 13 hour battery life, less than 1/2 price
3DS may be more powerful, but 2.5-3 hour battery life & twice the price to do what?
play a game designed for the ds. It seems like a poor trade off.
I've heard that DS games get 5-7 hours battery life on the 3DS. I guess it doesn't need the same GPU and the 3D effect also chops down battery times (with 3D off 3DS games get hours more life).
I am playing Black on my DS Lite right now. I can tell it wasnt designed for the screen on the Lite though, as in battle the lettering in the pokemon names is really cramped.
There's no resolution difference between the Lite and the DSi. The problem in Pokemon is the text is just really tiny, in-battle character names are 3 pixels wide. They'll be 3 pixels wide no matter what display. W looks like a H even on a DSi XL! It was a really poor choice of font.
