my ipad2 came with 4.3 and i never updated. now that 4.3.2 is out, can i update to 4.3.1 somehow and still save the shsh blob from that?
Save those SHSH Blobs fast. I saw that 4.3.2 came out and right when I got back from lunch, fired up my laptop and saved them for my iPad 2. Also saved again for my iPhone just for good measure.

Stopped by the Deer Park place today. Took me awhile to find it. Drove right past it. How I missed the big apple, I do not know ;)
Nice store, it was crowded but they had plenty copies of Leopard available and the lines moved fast.
Could not find a case for my iPod Touch tho. :(

And if you need to use those pages or keynote projects at work or in school?
Define "need to use." I use Pages for all of my reports, and output to PDF for presentation to my clients. If they need a Word version, I export it as Word. Never had a single complaint. I present in Keynote quite often, sometimes saving the slides in PDF form. Never had a complaint there either; in fact the Keynote presentations in particular get rave reviews.
I don't get why people manufacture so many impediments that don't exist to using something other than MS Office. I would loathe the thought of being chained to MS Office, or anything else for that matter, for the rest of my life.

T-Mobile doesn't even have OS X in-house, let alone have the personnel to manage it.
Their servers are a mix of Red Hat and Solaris.
Their clients are Windows only.
They run Peoplesoft and vendor shrinkwrap for all business processes.
They've never built an enterprise team to develop solutions.
They don't know a damn thing about Cocoa Programming.
I'll stop here.
Either they plan to pay Apple to build their call center suite like McCaw Systems--later ATT Wireless asked NeXT, Omnigroup and various other consulting teams to write it or they are blowing smoke about OS X Leopard.
The talented system engineers who know Linux have all but moved on from T-Mobile to greener pastures like Intel.
Perhaps if T-Mobile knew a damn thing about the Enterprise I'd take some of this serious.
I'd be happy if Apple came in and did it all. At least we know it wouldn't be such a cluster-*******.
It really doesn't matter...TMobile would be providing a service. A service based on standard protocols, it doesn't matter what OS is running on the device, they're not going to support the devices; that's the job of the manufacturer.
And most companies don't run OS X, it's sad I know ;) , but it's true.

Anyone know what kind of stock numbers they will have on Saturday? I want to go pick up some more iPads.
I was there hanging out with Nick who is a tech reviewer.
That guy was just crazy.

With what Apple seem to be focused on these days any Analyst could use this template.
"Apple will release a lighter, thinner **Insert any Apple product**"
And have about a 90% chance of getting it right.

And my question is, will Apple's N work with anyone elses?
Since it is the Draft-N spec then I would assume it would.

Alright lets start with simple here, reinstall XCode from a downloaded image from Apple.
I'll have to give that a try. I thought it was an error in the code somewhere and there is almost nothing relevant online about the error (or if I find something people say they fixed it but don't say how :( )
For now I have a workaround of just creating new projects and copying the authors code in and running it that way for now.

I read on some US messageboard that school governors get educational discounts but haven't been able to find this info on the Apple site. I phoned AppleUK to check and they said yes, so I ordered over the phone. They did not ask me to provide any evidence. I'm not sure, if you are active in PTA this may count. BTW, I'm a primary school governor.

At the basics, you get a no ad front-page and page2.

Sure.. but any chance you get to put the page back up.. I would love to contribute.. :)

i suspect we'll see leopard released in january.
I hope you are wrong :)
I want Apple to take the time that is needed to clean and update their APIs as best they can... the 64 bit API switch is their best chance and only near term chance to clean house.

Time capsule is meant to be a backup drive...Did you delete all your music off your laptop as soon as it was on your TC?
Thanks for the tip and yes, that's exactly what I did. Macbook Air has a tiny hard drive and I was running out of space. I will need to buy another 1TB hard drive to backup my TC going forward!

I'm trying to choose between a new stock-configured Dual GHz from Apple and a 3-month-old QS which includes a 3-yr. AppleCare plan (minus 3 mos.), a gig of ram, a SuperDrive, and an external 40-gig Maxtor FW drive--each one for the approximate same price ($2350). In other words, at the educator's price, I can get the new one at about the same price as the used one w/extras. On the other hand, the used one's AppleCare will not cover the 17" Apple LCD Display I'll be buying later w/out a rebate; whereas, Apple's currently offering a $200 rebate when customers buy the cpu and display together.
Because benchtests reveal little difference in performance between these two models, and some posters have even complained about noise problems and little gain in overall speed in the current line, I'm wondering which will offer the best bang for the buck. I'll eventually be using FCP3 burning DVDs on whatever I get, but I'm unsure of the difference between them. I've seen that everymac.com lists the street value of the QS Feb 2002 dual GHz as worth a few hundred more than the current stock-configured dual GHz, and that these were going fast in August when smalldog and others had a few still in stock. Moreover, the used one also offers the extra warranty.
As an educator, am I better off w/one of the new ones and buying an Apple monitor at the same time, or going w/the "older" model and buying a monitor later w/out the AppleCare plan or rebate?
I could really use some input, especially since there's few reviews available on the new models, and I'm unsure how big of a difference there is between the 167MHz bus speed and the older 133, or the type of RAM each uses. The extra expansion bays are not really necessary in my work, either.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Rick

Money is already withheld for Social Security every check so how hard would it be to just take income.
Everyone who pays you doesn't withhold Social Security. Only if you're an official employee. How is it withheld from your ebay or other income profits or if you're freelance? You have to turn in quarterly returns if you're freelance. When you sell items you pay on your profit minus expenses.
